Short Stroke

Short stroke cylinders generally have a rod length that is less than the piston diameter. They are usually used in applications where high force must be generated from a relatively low supply pressure.
Short-stroke cylinders have an advantage of fitting into a narrow axial space but do require substantial radial width.
